Welcome to the Great
Commission Inc.
The purpose of the Great Commission Incorporated is to serve as a channel
for providing the physical and spiritual support needed to aid those who
are seeking to fulfill the great commission given in Matthew 28:18-20.
It chiefly accomplishes these ends by providing a tax-deductible means
of supporting missionaries in agreement with the doctrines and aims of
the Great Commission Incorporated and by providing an extensive prayer
network for each missionary. |

SANGLIR TIDINGS APRIL 2009
Saturday, April 4th, my wife and I were riding the bus into Bangkok when we suddenly remembered that it was the anniversary of arriving in Bangkok from Nepal. Our two sons were one and three-years-old then, and we remember how HOT and HUMID it was! Earlier this month, our daughter’s class went on their senior trip, so we decided to spend a few days in Bangkok. We took a bus to the guesthouse. The traffic was very heavy, and we complained all the way! Have we gotten older and are running out of patience? Have we forgotten how city life and traffic is in this City of Angels?

April 2009
Dear praying friends,
Life seems to go by faster every year. When I was younger, I used to think that I had all the time in the world. Now, I realize life is very short. The prayer of the psalmist is as needed today as it was in times past: “So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom” (Ps. 90:12). We may not have as much time left to serve the Lord as we think. That is why we cannot waste time, especially on temporal things, forgetting that we have been created for eternity.

NEWS FROM THE SPIVEYS
Dear Amigo, February 2009
Susan and I send you greetings from Tennessee.
Last Sunday I preached at a Hispanic church. We met the pastor a number of years ago while visiting door to door. He was lost and on cocaine. As we ministered, we learned that a number of their church members are without work. Some are discouraged and experiencing hard times. In preparing the message, I felt the Lord quickened me to encourage them with a couple of verses.
